Children and Youth Classes

The Lamb’s Club (Nursery)
Teacher: TBA
The nursery is available during the Sunday School hour for children newborn to three years of age. It is staffed by volunteers on a rotating basis; we are currently looking for a volunteer to fill the role of Sunday School nursery coordinator. Each week, they provide a short age-appropriate Bible lesson which focuses on discovering who God is and learning about creation. The children are also introduced to Christian songs. Nursery time continues through the worship service with focused play.

Adult Classes
Black Sheep

Adults of all ages are welcomed into this group. We currently have attendees from 20-something to… “seniors”. This class is led by rotating class members and has included video Bible studies, a study on the book of Acts entitled “The Church on Fire”, and a study on the book of Daniel.

Young and the Rest of Us
Teacher: Gene Snyder
The name says it all! This class uses a Disciples of Christ weekly Internet publication called “The Wired Word” to relate Christian values to current events. This is a discussion-based class with focuses on the latest happenings in the world.

The Dean’s List
Teacher: Dean Walkup
This Sunday School ministry to 20, 30, and 40-somethings uses short-term studies which have ranged from examining different religions of the world, to how to make good, Biblically-sound life decisions, to a movie study on Facing the Giants. Additionally… we have the coffee pot.
