Rev. Randall “Randy” Frye began ministry at Gower Christian Church in mid-November 2016.
He grew up in a suburb of St. Paul, MN and lived for several years in Sioux Falls, SD, where he graduated from college and seminary.
While a seminary student he served as a youth pastor at First Christian Church in Sioux Falls. He was ordained by The Christian Church (DOC) in the Upper Midwest on August 30, 1992. For the past 24 years he has been serving churches in Texas.
He married his wife Ronda in 1985. Ronda has a degree in Administrative Systems and has worked as a secretary in college and post-graduate school institutions. She worked 10 years at the Lockhart (TX) school district child care facility. Ask her about her marvelous scrapbooks! Ronda and Randy have two children. Hannah (23) recently graduated from Iowa State. She is looking to begin a career in the conservation field. Jesse (20) is an avid sports fan and is trying to get used to the colder weather of NW Missouri!
Randy is an avid sports fan like his son. He also enjoys cooking, playing guitar and bass, reading and golf.

Our administrator is Gower native Missy Wilmes. Missy and her family live just outside of Gower. Missy is the glue that holds the office together and the oil that makes the machine run. She is the gatekeeper, the holder of the keys, and the master of the calendar. If you need to get something done at the church – talk to Missy!
